Background of the study
The rapid advancement of technology has transformed the way education is delivered, with e-learning platforms providing a flexible and accessible alternative to traditional face-to-face instruction. However, secondary schools in Katsina Local Government Area, Katsina State, face significant challenges in providing individualized tutoring to students due to a shortage of qualified teachers and limited resources (Aminu & Abdul, 2023). An e-tutoring system, which allows students to access tutoring services online, can bridge this gap by offering personalized academic support outside the classroom.
E-tutoring systems utilize digital tools such as video conferencing, interactive content, and assessment tools to engage students and enhance learning outcomes (Umar & Ali, 2023). This study aims to design and implement an e-tutoring system for secondary schools in Katsina Local Government Area, providing students with access to high-quality tutoring services and improving their academic performance.
